Greetings,

Welcome to St. John’s Riverside Emergency Medicine! I am honored to be part of an innovative Emergency Medicine training program that embraces diversity and dynamic learning. Our mission is to equip future physicians with a robust education that spans a spectrum of emergency department (ED) settings. This unique experience will empower our graduates with not only exceptional training, but also a profound comprehension of the multifaceted world of EM practice. From bustling community hospitals to renowned trauma centers, our program offers a spectrum of learning opportunities, ensuring that our residents develop a holistic understanding of emergency medicine.

Our didactic curriculum is thoughtfully designed to cater to diverse learning preferences. We integrate lectures, small group discussions, flipped classroom exercises, simulations, labs, and workshops to engage learners of various styles, keeping our curriculum vibrant and interactive.

Prioritizing physician wellness and resilience, we curate events, retreats, and team-building activities throughout the year, fostering strong connections among residents, faculty, and support staff. Situated in the scenic vicinity of Westchester County, near the heart of NYC, our program not only nurtures medical expertise but also offers an enriching lifestyle surrounded by natural beauty and endless recreational opportunities.

Thank you for considering the SJRH EM residency program as your gateway to a diverse and enriching journey in Emergency Medicine.

Best Regards,
