The Emergency Medicine residency program at St. John’s Riverside Hospital is an ACGME accredited 3 year residency program located on the Hudson River, just 13 miles north of New York City.

Our residents have a unique opportunity to help shape our program. We have a strong focus on Point-Of-Care Ultrasound, research, wellness, and finding your niche within Emergency Medicine. We have exposure to multiple Emergency Department styles at four clinical sites, from small 5-bed community departments to large 70+ bed departments at urban tertiary care centers.
